Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
On your arrival in Delhi, our representatives will receive you
at the airport and will escort you to the hotel for overnight
stay. You can venture out on your own to get a feel of the city
life.
Day 02: Delhi - Agra
Breakfast at hotel
Morning visit. The capital of India will bowl you over with an
eclectic platter of tourist attractions. Monuments such as the
Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb and the Red Fort carry the proud legacies
of the city's royal heritage. The India Gate is a glowing tribute
to the martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting for their
motherland. Travel to Old Delhi for a trip down the memory lane
or shop till you drop at the Chandni Chowk bazaar. The Lotus temple
and the Akshardham temple are unique examples of modern architecture
and religious faith.
Later depart by surface for Agra and check into the hotel on arrival.
Visit the world famous Taj Mahal to relish its ethereal beauty
in sunset. Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630
for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later
visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public
and Private Audience.

Day 03:
Agra – Khajuraho
Breakfast at hotel.
In time ransfer to railway station to connect Shatabdi Express
for Jhansi. On arrival transfer to Khajuraho. En-route visit Orcha
Temple Orchha's grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in
time, a rich legacy of the ages. For this medieval city, the hand
of time has rested and the palaces and the temples built by its
Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century retain much of their
pristine perfection. Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by
graceful Chhatries, commands a spectacular view of soaring temple-spires
and cenotaphs. Later continue drive for Khajuraho, on arrival check
in at hotel.

Day 04: Khajuraho
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning visit Khajuraho, is one of the most popular tourist destinations
in India. The erstwhile capital of the Chandela Rajputs, Khajuraho
is famous for its ancient Hindu temples replete with erotic sculptures.
The Khajuraho temples, built according to the North Indian 'shikhara'
style of architecture, are in a very good state of preservation.
The Khajuraho temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site
.
Full day sightseeing of temples. Visit the Western Group of temples,
the most important temple being the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple-dedicated
to Lord Shiva. It is one of the largest and most typical of the
Khajuraho temples. Visit the Chaunsat Yogini Jain Temple-dedicated
to the 64 "Yoginis" or attendants of Goddess Kali. This
temple stands apart from the rest. Also see the Chitragupta or
Bharatji Temple with a lovely sculpture of Lord Vishnu in his 11-headed
form. The sculptures that adorn the temples, carved in stone depict
gods, goddesses and amorous couples. Later visit the Eastern Group
of temples including the Ghantai Temple, Vamana Temple dedicated
to the "Vamana" or dwarf incarnation of Lord Vishnu and
the Javari Temple. There are also three Jain Temples with beautiful
carvings and non-erotic sculptures. Although these are Jain temples,
they also contain numerous Vaishnav deities.

Day 05: Khajuraho – Delhi Breakfast at hotel.
In time transfer to connect flight for Delhi. On arrival transfer
to hotel.

Day 06: Delhi
Transfer to the International Airport for onward destination.
