Day 01 Arr. Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance on arrival
and transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu
Breakfast at hotel.
Half day city sightseeing tour visiting the Durbar
Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev
and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl-holy place for the Buddhists
and Hindus, Temple House of Kumari, the vestalvirgin or the living
goddess. Walk around the local bazaars. Also visit Swayambhunath,
a 2500-year old site where, it is believed, the Radiant Lotus of
the valley-mythology, settled when the water was drained by Manjushri,
the god of Wisdom. The 5 Dhyani Buddha's attended by their consorts
are enshrined at the base of the stupa.
Afternoon visit to Patan and Handicrafts Centre.
Patan is an old Newar city. See the historic Durbar Square, the
statue of Yogendra Malla, other temples and old windows and carved
balconies of wood, curio shops and bazaars.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Kathmandu / Chitwan
Breakfast at hotel.
Later leave by motorcoach for Chitwan and on arrival
check-in at Lodge. Afternoon wildlife viewing. Spread over 932 sq.
Km, 20 minutes by air or 146 Kms from Kathmandu by road, (Bharatpur
and Meghauli are the two fair weather airports (close to the Chitwan
National Park) Chitwan National Park in the subtropical lowlands,
consists of salforests, tall grasslands, hills, ox-bow lakes and
flood plains. Over 50 species of mammals, 55 species of amphibians
and reptiles and 525 species of birds are found here. Animals include
the endangered one-horned rhino, Bengal tiger, gharial crocodile,
gaur, wild elephant, antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, genetic
dolphin, monitor lizard and pythons. Very comfortable accommodation
in huts, camps and machans is available inside and outside the park
offering convenient elephant and jeep safaris to view the wild life
there.

Day 04 Chitwan
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day wild life viewing in Chitwan National park.
Meals and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 05 Chitwan / Pokhara
After breakfast leave by motorcoach for Pokhara and
on arrival check-in at hotel.
Afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Pokhara
Morning Half day sightseeing of the valley visiting
the Mahendra Pool to view Seti River Gorge, the Bindebasani Bhagwati
Temple and the Old Pokhara City. Also visit the Tibetan Refugee
Camp to watch the carpet weaving. Walk down to the David falls to
hear the sounds of a mythical river believed to be flowing underground.
Later Enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake. The Phewa
Lake the second largest lake in the Kingdom, is the center of all
attraction in Pokhara. It is the most enchanting of the three lakes
that add to the replendence of Pokhara.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Pokhara / Kathmandu
After breakfast leave by motorcoach for Kathmandu
and on arrival check-in at hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 07 Kathmandu
Breakfast at hotel.
Later visit to Pashupatinath and Boudhnath. Pashupatinath,
situated on the banks of river Baghmati - here Shiva is worshipped
in the form of lingam. (Only Hindus are allowed inside). In the
month of February an annual pilgrimage on the occasion of Shivaratri
is organized here every year. Boudhnath is an important Buddhist
pilgrimage centre. Visit the temple of Boudhnath, the colossal Stupa,
one of the largest in the world. This Stupa has the all-seeing eyes
of the Buddha built by king Manna Diva in expiation of his sins,
inset with prayer wheels.
Afternoon excursion to Bhadgaon and Thimi. Bhadgaon
is a Newar city founded in the 9th century. Visit the ancient Gateway,
Durbar Square the Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupendra Malla,
the famous five-storeyed temple of Nytapole in pagoda-style and
other temples. On the way stop at a small village Thimi, known for
its pottery and for the manufacture of masks.

Day 08 Kathmandu
After breakfast Half day visit to Dakshinkali, Kirtipur,
Bungamati and Khokana. Dakshinkali, the temple of the Goddess Kali
lies 28 Kms from Kathmandu, at the Southern edge of the Kathmandu
Valley. Devotees visit this temple each Tuesday and Saturday to
make sacrificial offerings of chicken and goats to Goddess "Kali".
Later visit Kirtipur to see the 5th century temples, old lanes and
weavers dressed in traditional clothing.Bungamati is a 16th century
village considered the winter home of Lord Machchendranath. Khokana
is a Newar Village lying 10 Kms south of Kathmandu city, next to
Bungmati, both dating back to the 16th century. In between the two
settlements is the temple of Karya Binayak. Running through it is
a wide main street, which was built after the 1934 earthquake. Khokana
has long been famous as an oil-pressing as an oil-pressing centre
where mustard seeds are pressed using traditional methods.

Day 09 Kathmandu
Breakfast at hotel.
In time transfer to airport to board flight for onward
international destination.
